Some photos on Ace’s page also feature his sister, Kyra. Kyra is the smaller, apricot colored doodle; while Ace is a bit bigger, and is more blond/cream in color.

Hi Jeanne-

It has been a long time since we have written to you, but I wanted to send a bunch of pictures of our labradoodle puppies from Jack and Maggie's March 9, 2010 litter. We absolutely love our pups. Kyra and Ace are wonderful dogs with great personalities. They both think they are lap dogs because no matter where you are they always want to have a part of their body to snuggle against you. Kyra is still a bundle of energy and loves to play. She weighs 45 pounds and is in great health. Ace is still the lounger and laid-back one, but they love to run around together when they get the chance. Ace weighs about 50 pounds and is also very healthy. They are best buddies. It is hard to believe they are 11 months old already. Time sure flies when you are having fun!

I am sending you a bunch of pictures since we brought the puppies home so you can choose whatever ones you would like to view or update your website. I also wanted to ask if you are still breeding F1 labradoodles at your place. We have some neighbors who are interested within the next year in getting a new puppy. Kevin and I were also curious for a puppy in the future, but it seems like the goldendoodles and F2 labradoodles have been more popular recently in your breeding program so we weren't sure. Please let me know when you get a chance.

Thanks so much again. I have a 2nd email coming to you with additional pictures since they all wouldn't fit in this email. Take care!

Hi Jeanne!

It's been awhile since I've updated you on Kyra and Ace (Maggie/Jack F1 litter). I wanted to let you know that both puppies are doing very well.  They have both gone to the vet and everything came back clean ( no worms, parasites, ticks, fleas, etc.). They are both getting big quickly.  Kyra weighs 11.5 pounds and Ace is 14.3 pounds. Here is a little breakdown of each puppy:

Kyra- She is very smart! She learns commands and things very quickly when we work with her one-on-one. She is also very playful and has lots of energy. She loves people, being outside in the grass, and playing with other dogs. She is very independent and will explore on her own. She is not shy at all!  She is starting to get used to her crate, but she still cries a little when we leave. She is much better though.

Ace- He is so laid-back. He is quite the cuddler. He could lay down on the kitchen tile or family room floor all day long and be completely happy. He is the perfect dog for my family. He also loves being around people. He is a little shy so sometimes we have to push him a little to go somewhere else. However if Kyra is around, he will follow her lead and do whatever she is doing for the most part.

It is so fun to see the 2 of them together. They play together all day long and usually wear themselves out by bedtime. We have a pool so we have been holding them in the water to try to get them used to it. They don't fight it as much anymore. Both dogs seem to have the same type of coat. They shed very little so far which is great! We are still working on potty-training and nipping a bit, but things are improving. I'm sure it is normal puppy behavior.

Also, have all of their brothers and sisters been placed in homes yet? I have been checking the website often, but I thought I would ask. I hope you were able to find great families to take them. They are great dogs and we couldn't be happier. Thanks so much again. Pictures will sent to you soon!

Jeanne,

We love our puppies! Kyra is so smart. We have had her for a week now, and she knows her name, sits on command, comes when you call her by name, is house broken, and already sleeps pretty much through the night. Ace is a little more shy, but we shower him with praise, and he is coming out of his shell. It is great that they will get to spend most weekends together; Kyra helps us train Ace, because he is a follower, and he helps us keep Kyra calm at night time. What a great combo.

We took them to the Vets, and they passed with flying colors. You did a great job with them. If we had a bigger house, we would have taken the whole litter! If anyone is questioning the quality of your pups, please use me as a reference. I have had dogs all my life, and these guys are way ahead of the curve.

Thanks again. We will send you pics as they get older.
