Labradoodles 2010:

F1B Standard Labradoodles  - Puppies are Here!  They were born Friday, March 5; Parents are Phoebe and Jack.  9 puppies, 6 males, 3 females as follows:  1 Chocolate (Female), 2 Black (1 Male, 1 Female), 3 Apricot (2 Males, 1 Female), and 3 Cream Males.  They are gorgeous, healthy, and everyone is doing fine!  These are excellent for people concerned with allergy and shedding issues.  Should mature to 45-60 lbs, Females; 55-70 lbs Males, +/- a few pounds.  I still have one opening on this litter, and may actually be able to take some Standby Deposits and reservations in the event the customers on this list wait for another litter.  So contact me ASAP about standby status!  $1200 + tax.  (Go To Litter).

F1 Standard Labradoodles - Parents will be Maggie & Jack.  Breeding is complete!  Maggie should be due March 8 – March 16; puppies ready May 8 – May 16 at 8 weeks of age!  This is a perfect time of year to bring home a puppy!  F1’s tend to shed to varying degrees, so I tell customers to expect some shedding.  Some don’t shed, but these are more likely to shed to some degree than not.  Perfect size and temperament; Mature to about 50 lbs.  We have several openings on this list; Reserve Now for best selection position!   $1000 + tax.

F1B Standard Labradoodles – New Litter Just Announced!!!! Parents will be Autumn and Flash (see his photo at Our Dogs, Poodle Stud Information).  Flash is a gorgeous AKC registered apricot (light cream) Standard Poodle!  He and Autumn will make beautiful babies together.  We just completed the breeding process; litter should be born early May (5th – 11th), and ready June 30 – July 6, approximately.  We expect light colors with this litter; they will be beautiful.  We could also get one or two chocolate…we just have to wait and see.  Reserve now for best selection!!!!  $1200 + tax.

F1B Standard Labradoodles – Parents will be Phoebe and Jack.  This litter is tentative, based on the number of inquiries and interest we have in the litter.  If there is enough interest, we will have a 2nd litter with Phoebe in the Fall of 2010.

Goldendoodles 2010:

F1 Mini Goldendoodles - Parents will be Mindy & Oliver. Breeding is complete; Mindy goes for an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy on Feb. 18.  If pregnant, her puppies will be due between March 20 – March 23; ready at 8 weeks, which is around May 20 – May 23.  We have a few openings remaining on this list…so hurry now to reserve!  F1 mini/mediums are gorgeous! $1200 + tax.

F1B Mini Goldendoodles - Parents will be Reba & Oliver. Due to the overwhelming popularity of our F1B mini goldendoodles, we will once again breed Reba with Oliver.  We are waiting patiently for Reba to come into heat; we are hoping she does so by the end of February, or early March.  We will keep you posted.  If she is bred in March, puppies would be born in May, and ready in July.  We were hoping for an earlier timeframe, but Mother Nature controls these things. This list is full, but we are taking Standby Reservations in the event openings occur.  If no openings occur, we will transfer your deposit to future F1B mini/medium goldendoodle litters.  $1200 + tax.

F1B Mini Goldendoodles - Parents will be Honey & Oliver. Our most popular puppies! Honey & Oliver have great litters! Est. timeframe should be puppies born May/June; ready July/Aug.  This litter is filling fast but we are still taking names!  ; it is our most popular breed!  $1200 + tax.

New Litter for 2010 Just Announced ! –

F1B Mini/Medium Goldendoodles – Parents will be Scarlett (photo coming soon!) and Oliver.  Our projected timeframe for Scarlett’s first litter will be puppies due in October, ready in December.  This all depends on Scarlett’s breeding cycle, but this is how we think she is tracking. $1200 + tax.

2011 Litters – Timeframes are not guaranteed, but are good estimates:

F1B Standard Labradoodles – Parents will be Phoebe & Jack, due Feb, 2011; ready April 2011.  We will only breed this litter if we haven’t done a 2nd litter with Phoebe in the Fall of 2010.  If she has a 2nd litter in 2010, we most likely will skip this breeding with her. We will then breed her again in the summer/fall of 2011.  It is not too early to reserve now.

F1B Mini/Medium Goldendoodles – Parents will be Reba & Oliver; Born Late 2010/ Ready Early 2011.  $1200 + tax

F1B Mini/Medium Goldendoodles – Parents will be Honey & Oliver, early 2011, puppies planned to be born Dec of 2010, ready Feb. 2011.  No, it isn’t too early to reserve these favorite puppies!!!!  $1200 + tax.

What is the purchase process? How do I get started?
PLEASE READ OUR PROCESSES CAREFULLY AS THEY HAVE CHANGED EFFECTIVE 05/31/2006

Pin Oak Farm provides the high level of service you need to get the Doodle puppy you want. We do this by providing the following option(s) for you to choose from:

Application Process

Pin Oak Farm prefers that our customers choose their puppy in person, and we encourage customers to visit Pin Oak Farm for an opportunity to meet us, the puppies, and their breeding parents. It also helps us to get to know our customers better. We do not choose puppies for customers, unless there are unforeseen circumstances that would warrant us to do that.

Due to the volume of applications, we now breed puppies to fill specific orders. In doing so, we require that applicants “reserve” their spot by coming to select a puppy and by sending a non-refundable deposit. The deposit does not hold a specific puppy for you, it simply reserves your spot to come and choose your puppy.

The process is as follows:

Customers can submit a Pin Oak Application online and specify particular attributes and characteristics they are looking for in a doodle puppy.

There is no commitment or obligation by completing an application. However, in order to be placed on a Reserved List, you must send in a $250 non-refundable deposit. Applications without deposits are still considered in the event there are more puppies than reservations for any particular litter. However, in order to guarantee placement on the next available reservation list, a deposit must accompany your application

All applications are acknowledged, and any questions will be answered. If there is an active litter (planned/expected/born), we will reply with current litter information, availability, status, etc.

If there are no current litters, customers will be contacted when a litter is planned, meaning the mother/female is ready to be bred. At that time, if a customer is still interested, they must send a deposit to reserve their selection spot.

IMPORTANT: Deposits may be sent at any time, and you do not have to wait until we contact you. Reminder: In order to be considered to be in a Reserved status, a deposit must accompany your emailed application. You are not placed on a reservation list until your deposit is received. Your selection position is determined in the order in which your deposit was received. Deposits must minimally be in the amount of $250.00. Deposits are non-refundable, but are transferable to other Pin Oak litters.

We communicate with customers that have submitted deposits as the pregnancy and delivery progress. You will receive updates on the puppies growth and development, and we will email photos of the litter as they grow. Customers begin to come and choose their puppies once they are 8 weeks of age. Customers come in the order in which their deposits were received. Any customer who cannot come in their scheduled sequence must make arrangements to either come earlier and make their top few selections, or forfeit their position and come as soon as they are available.

Pin Oak Farm reserves the right to choose or “reserve” puppies in the following situations only: 1) If a puppy is going to a special needs home, or is being used as a therapy dog, Pin Oak reserves the right to reserve any puppy from a litter which we feel is the best fit in that situation; 2) If a customer specifically asks us to choose the puppy for them, we will do so in the order the customer would have been scheduled to come and choose for themselves; 3) Any puppy we wish to retain for our own breeding program. Puppies pre-reserved by Pin Oak for these situations are not available for customers to choose from at their time of selection.

Puppies may go home with their new families anytime between 8-10 weeks of age. Boarding fees will be charged for any reserved puppy that remains here after 10 weeks of age.

By sending an application and deposit, you are secured a place on the list of next customers to contact. Again, we will try to fill your order within one year of the application. Many times it will not take that long, but we cannot guarantee the exact time frame.

UNRESERVED PUPPIES

Pin Oak may, on occasion, have puppies that were not previously reserved by the Application Process. This rarely happens as most puppies are reserved before they are born. If any puppy(s) remains unreserved, Pin Oak will contact our list of applicants who have not sent in deposits, to see if they are interested in the available puppy(s). If none of our applicants are in the market for a puppy at that time, the photos and bios of available puppy(s) will be placed on the website for public viewing. Customers interested in these puppies must also submit an application, contact Pin Oak immediately via email and send a deposit to hold the specific puppy. If more than one customer reserves the same puppy, the first customer to send their deposit and application will receive that puppy.

PRICES & DEPOSITS

Effective March 30, 2005, all standard-size F1 puppies are $1,000 plus 6% Pennsylvania sales tax. All miniature/medium F1 & F1B doodles are $1200 + tax. Deposits of $250 may be sent in the form of a personal check. Deposits are non-refundable. Sending a deposit reserves your spot to come and choose a specific puppy from the next available litter. Puppies are not guaranteed within a certain timeframe, but our goal is to fill your order within one year. In the event that we receive more deposits than puppies, deposits are transferable to the next available litter.

The balance due at pick up must be cash, money order, or bank check (cashier’s or certified).

Deposits are transferable to other litters. This means that for whatever reason, if you’ve placed a deposit and now wish to transfer it to another litter, you can. There are two important details to keep in mind however. First, transferring to another litter will forfeit your selection position, and place you next in line at the time you’ve made the decision to transfer. You are not placed ahead of customers who were originally on the selection list before you. Second, the price of the litter to which you are transferring may be different than the litter from which you transferred. Mini/mediums are priced higher than standards.

ADOPTION OPPORTUNITIES

Occasionally, a situation arises when a buyer can no longer, in circumstances beyond their control, keep their puppy or dog. These situations may include, but are not limited to, severe illness of the buyer or family member, unemployment, relocation, divorce, etc. As a breeder and seller of companions, I truly hope that each buyer has a life-long commitment and relationship with their dog, but I realize sometimes things just cannot be helped.

In this situation, I would like to help place the puppy/dog in a loving home to help ease the situation for my customers. I cannot guarantee that I can find a home, but I’d like to offer this service if the need arises. I have many contacts with people looking for doodles, and many are open to adoption. Some folks also prefer an adult dog, so they don’t have to go through the puppy stage.

Since I’ve been in business, I have learned that doodle buyers (and potentially “dog-people” in general) are quick to help one another, and always have room in their hearts for situations like this. I recently had this scenario arise, and was amazed at the amount of responses I had from my customers who were willing to consider adopting another dog. I have the best customers in the word!

If you would be interested in adopting a puppy/dog in the event one becomes available due to the situations listed above, please fill out an application and let me know of your interest. Include in your email your name, phone number, and best time to reach you. This way I can keep your information on file, and have it ready for anyone who is in a difficult situation.
